It is heartbroken to inform you that Rick Johnston passed away. He made Cursillo #67 in Atlanta in 2022 with his wife Cheryl. May he be at the arm of Jesus. Please pray for her and her family.

10/1/2022: Deaf Cursillo #67 was held at Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center in Atlanta, GA on September 22-25, 2022. There were 25 then-candidates attending the Cursillo weekend. This group was fabulous and highly motivated! Now they become new Cursillistas. Congratulations to Cursillo #67.
10/1/2022: The following pictures are training that finally was held in person in Atlanta, GA on September 20-22, 2022 before Cursillo weekend began. Prior to that, the Cursillo team met and practiced on Zoom and GoReact starting January 20 to June 2, 2022. We were blessed to participate for five month training without interfering. Thank God!

A deaf Candiania guy named Richard Csabi was involved with the Cursillo team and was rector in the USA and Canada. Richard was a beautiful signer. Many of you saw or have heard about Timo, and Richard signed a beautiful DeColores song. And even he signed with Timo, Fr. Christopher Klusman, and Meg Lo at the ICDA conference in Washington, DC, in summer 2015.
ICDA President got a message from Dr.Joe McLaughin from Canada saying that Richard has not been able to join the Deaf Mass due to a brain tumor. May he keep in your prayer. Here is an address you can reach in writing a letter.
